CollecTin More 4G A13 SumUp (Orange Top)

Pre-Quickstart Guide with optional Kiosk Mode

!! NOTE !!

Your CollecTin More will be delivered with the complete Quickstart Guide. Please do read that in details.

This guide only gives you information about opening the accounts and setting up your first campaigns to get ready for your unit.

Useful background

The CollecTin More is a collaboration between four organisations:

CollecTin - design, make and sell the CollecTin More itself

SumUp - provide the payment services

Give A Little - supply the software

Daisy - power the SIM card if you need a 3G/4G mobile connection (not required if you have WiFi, see ‘Connect to the internet’ section below for costs)

B. Setting-up your SumUp and Give A Little accounts

You will use your SumUp account details to log-in to:

To set-up your SumUp account:

  • Head to https://www.sumup.com/en-gb/collectin/
  • Click on the black “Sign up here” button and follow the steps
  • All charity SumUp accounts now require verification. This means that once a charity signs up through the registration process, onboarding will request additional documents to verify your account. This may include information about your charity and people added to the SumUp account. Please look out for an email from SumUp Onboarding with further details or look out for this banner in your account to follow.

To set-up your Give A Little account:

Once your accounts have been set up, you can set up your donation pages called "Campaigns"

within the Give A Little app to get ready for your CollecTin More's arrival.

4. Set up your first campaign

We recommend you set up your app campaigns on the Give A Little website:

  • Go to https://givealittle.co/login and log-in with either your Give A Little or SumUp account details
  • Click on ‘Campaigns’ from the first row of options, then the blue ‘Add new’ at the top right corner
  • Select ‘App campaign’ then pick a layout and enter the info requested at each step until your campaign is complete
  • If you prefer to use an image or video for the background, then it’s best to format this to 1024 pixels high x 600 pixels wide as it could cause the GiveALittle app to crash otherwise.
  • For more information and links to templates please see the Support Article >> Give A Little - How to set up Campaign Assets / Design Templates
