Wonderful that you are still using a CollecTin More 3G model (pre Nov-21) to raise funds. While your unit is no longer is no longer under warranty or support, you can use the following steps to reset and update various parts of your unit:

TABLE OF CONTENTS

The CollecTin More units are modular, so you can also purchase different parts to upgrade the unit if required.

Upgrade your tablet

If necessary, rather than replacing your CollecTin More, you can upgrade your CollecTin More by purchasing a new A13 tablet for £215. The upgrade also includes a new SumUp tray, internal cabling, new charger plug and static cable that connects your unit directly to mains power (without the booster battery in the handle). The tablet upgrade is available in the online shop here for card payments. If you would prefer to pay via BACS, please contact support@collectin.com with the details as specified at the bottom of this guide.

1. Reinstall Give A Little App

The Give A Little app is reinstalled via the Support Tab on your Home Screen. The linked article will give you a step by step guide. We recommend you open the instruction on another device (computer / tablet / phone) to gave the instructions next to you while doing the reinstallation on your CollecTin More. Please also read through the instructions before starting the download process on your unit.

2. Reset SumUp Bluetooth

It is important to note that the bluetooth of the SumUp can only be reset when there is no power going into the SumUp. If power is connected you will enter the 'boot menu', which will not reset the bluetooth.

3. SumUp Air Card Reader Firmware Update (If prompted after SumUp reset & reconnect)

If your SumUp wants to run a firmware update continue the prompts on your CollecTin More screen. If error messages appear as in no 2. of the article linked below follow the photo guide. The Give A Little app has change a little since this was created. You will see in the menu it no longer says "Connect Terminal" and instead "Connect Reader".

4. 3G Tablet Factory Reset

If none of the above sort out your issues, you may want to try resetting your tablet. If you have previously purchased a Fully Single App Kiosk licence, this will be lost, however you will be able to reinstall the Fully Single App Kiosk and purchase a new licence for under €10.
