Trouble shooting Fully Single App Kiosk

Introduction - What is Fully Single App Kiosk?


Fully Single App Kiosk is a security app which comes pre-installed on CollecTin More models 4G, 4G 205, 4G A12, and 4G A13.  

Fully Single App Kiosk prevents anyone from:
  • Leaving the Give A Little app
  • Accessing the tablet’s settings

When you activate Fully Kiosk App (we refer to this as being in Kiosk Mode) it "locks" Give a Little (your specialised donation software) to the front display screen which stops passers by from navigating away or from accessing your settings.  If someone tries to navigate away from this screen, Fully Single App Kiosk will redirect them back to it. 

In addition, Fully Single App Kiosk can be used to set up automatic sleep and wake times for CollecTin More units that are left permanently connected to mains power.

Troubleshooting for Fully Single App Kiosk


1) Unable to access tablet Settings or navigate away from your Give A Little donation / login screen

When you are not able to access the settings of your tablet, your Fully Single App Kiosk has been activated and is doing it's job (stopping people from accessing settings without a pin).

SolutionYou first need to exit Kiosk Mode / disable the Fully Single App Kiosk. You can find instruction for this in your Quickstart Guide supplied with the unit, or use the support articles below to disable/stop kiosk mode for your model: 


2) Unable to navigate away from "Unable to connect to internet..." or "Network unavailable" (Stuck on Screen)

If you are stuck on the "Unable to connect to internet" screen, or your campaign page with a "Network unavailable" banner, you have the Fully Single App Kiosk active, while internet connection has been interrupted.

SolutionYou first need to exit Kiosk Mode / disable the Fully Single App Kiosk. Once Fully Single App Kiosk has been turned off you can get into the Settings (Cogwheel on Home Page) to check the internet settings as explained in more detail here

3)  My Fully Single App Kiosk PIN has been lost

Please check the QuickStart guide that accompanied your purchase for the default PIN. We are not able to recover PINs set by customers, however you can gain access to the unit again with a new Fully Single App Kiosk Licence for £10+VAT. If the default PINs in your QuickStart guide does not work and you have checked all your records, please use the link below to purchase your new license:

After purchase, please send us your order confirmation number and the email address that was used to purchase your unit to support@collectin.com so we can register the licence against your account and send you the next steps to gain access to the unit.
