Micro USB Charging Port Damaged in SumUp Tray
If the SumUp card reader is removed and inserted incorrectly or forcibly, the micro USB port, which goes into the SumUp Air and charges the card reader can get damaged. A damaged port here will impact the card reader charging and can also create a charging short resulting in the tablet not charging either.
The damage may include bending or complete separation as shown in the photo below.
Unfortunately as this is accidental damage, rather than a manufacturing fault, it is not covered by the warranty. The quickest solution is to purchase the replacement cable and fit them yourself. The cable you require depends on the model CollecTin More you have. (Support article: Which CollecTin More model do I have?)

Step 1: Remove the SumUp

Please use the photo below to identify if you have a Tray 1 or Tray 2 for your SumUp.
Step 2: Remove the Tablet
> Helpful tools: Flat screwdriver or back of a spoon
Step 3: Replace the Y-shaped internal charger cable (or entire SumUp Tray)
