Using Fully Single App Kiosk to Schedule Sleep and Wake Times
Depending on your requirements, you can choose to run the CollecTin More connecting to mains power:
Fixed Connection to Mains power
You can connect your CollecTin More to mains power, which we recommend be done via the USB cable for static installation. Using the booster battery with the micro usb cable permanently attached to power will eventually cause the battery to fail and create power issues in the device.
For hardware durability it is best to power the unit down in the evening. Powering down can either be done manually or by use of scheduled power setting in the Fully Single App Kiosk app.
The Fully Single App Kiosk is an app that is designed to secure your CollecTin More and stops people from accessing and changing the settings on the tablet.
Scheduled Power On/Off
You can use Fully Single App Kiosk to Schedule Power for the device to automatically go to sleep and wake up at set times - for example night time and morning.
Please note that the sleep function will interact with the Give A Little Software and SumUp sign-in and changes in our partner's software or settings may impact this setting beyond our control.
Many of our customers make use this settings, and you can see if it works for you. The below guide explains how.
Please note that if internet connection is lost, SumUp may log you out of the Give A Little app as a security feature. This may result in the tablet displaying the Give A Little login page. To get away from this page and reestablish internet connection you need to switch off the Fully Single App Kiosk (instructions for your model towards the end of this article)

Setting Scheduled Power
Please open the Fully Single App Kiosk
- Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and tap on the circle icon in the bottom middle to return to the home screen
- From there, swipe up anywhere on the screen to access the apps drawer
- Tap on the “Fully Single App Kiosk” app icon (blue ‘f’) [IF the app ask for permissions please refer to the complete Fully Single App Kiosk Guide for your model at the bottom of this article]
This page will open > Fully Single App Kiosk, Quick Settings
- Adjust the ‘Wake up and Sleep’ functions
- Swipe in from the left side of the screen to open the Fully menu
- Select ‘Settings’, then ‘Power Settings’
- Tap on ‘Schedule Wakeup and Sleep (PLUS) > Edit the default times to suit your preferences or tap on the rubbish bin icon to disable the function altogether; you can also add multiple wakeup and sleep times by tapping on the blue ‘ADD ANOTHER TIME’ button from the bottom left of the screen. Note: "Wake up" time is first, and "Sleep" time second.
- Tap the triangle at the bottom left of the screen until you are back to the Fully Single App Kiosk Quick Settings screen and carry on with the rest of the steps
Tap ‘START KIOSK MODE’ (complete activation of Kiosk Mode)

IMPORTANT: If you wish to have your campaign page active on power on and for the sleep schedule to take effect, you need to activate:

If you want your CollecTin More completely locked down, so outsiders also cannot access the Give A Little menu, please do above AND activate the Give A Little menu lock
