Introduction - What is Fully Single App Kiosk?

Fully Single App Kiosk is a security app which comes pre-installed on CollecTin More models 4G, 4G 205, 4G A12, and 4G A13.

Fully Single App Kiosk prevents anyone from:

Leaving the Give A Little app
Accessing the tablet’s settings

When you activate Fully Kiosk App (we refer to this as being in Kiosk Mode) it "locks" Give a Little (your specialised donation software) to the front display screen which stops passers by from navigating away or from accessing your settings. If someone tries to navigate away from this screen, Fully Single App Kiosk will reload your Give A Little page.

In addition, Fully Single App Kiosk is used to set up automatic sleep and wake times for CollecTin More units that are left permanently connected to mains power.

Please note your model number by looking at the label on the back of your CollecTin More or by checking Which CollecTin More model do I have?

Please set up sleep and wake times as this will help extend the lifetime of your tablet

2) Changing default settings of your Fully Single App Kiosk:

2.1) I want to Disable 'Launch of Fully Single App Kiosk' on Start-up of the tablet

Using Kiosk Mode on your CollecTin More is recommended as it prevents the public from changing settings or adding a PIN onto your device, which would lock you out. If you choose to NOT use the Kiosk mode, these instructions guide you on settings to disable the Fully Single App Kiosk opening up by default when you start up the unit.

2.2) I want to increase security and switch off the sleep function of my power button

For CollecTin More models 4G, 4G 205 and 4G A12, Fully Single App Kiosk does not automatically disable the power button (located on the side of your unit and used to either sleep or power off your unit). You can disable the "press to sleep" function of the power button manually using these steps.

For CollecTin More model 4G A13, Fully Single App Kiosk automatically disables the power button. You can manually change this to unlock the power button by using these steps: Unlock Power Button for Fully Single App Kiosk - Model A13 Only.
