202604-14 UPDATE - Give A Little's latest app update resolves the connectivity issue that was experienced by some of our customers between the SumUp Air1E205 and the Give A Little app.
- Please download the latest update from your Give A Little app
- If you are still experiencing issues after the update and resetting your card reader, please contact hello@givealittle.co
- Your card reader may need replacing.
(SumUp now replace Air readers with the new Solo Lite, which requires a conversion kit to fit into your CollecTin More. You can either get a new SumUp conversion kit in our shop or source an Air reader from a third party seller.)
2026-04-02 Older SumUp Air readers not being found by Give A Little and not connecting to the App
There seems to be a SumUp Firmware update for AIR1E205 card readers coinciding with a new Give A Little update, which has resulted in a small number of SumUp Air readers not connecting to the Give A Little app.
Please follow these steps:
- Bluetooth Reset for SumUp Reader - SumUp not connecting to Give A Little
- IF the Bluetooth Reset triggers the SumUp Air Firmware update, please run it. Once completed, follow the same steps as for a Bluetooth reset, but this time LEAVE the CARD READER CONNECTED TO POWER. This will trigger a REBOOT.
- After the firmware update and reboot, please use the Give A Little menu to 'Connect Reader'
- IF a card reader is found without the last three digits being displayed, instead XXX and you have no other readers around, please tap this one and see if it will connect with your reader.
If this issue has started for you after a Give A Little update, and the reset and steps above has not resolved this, you can revert back to the older version by going onto your CTM's Home Page > Support > then typing this URL into the browser: https://bit.ly/gal-ct-414
Download the Give A Little file, open it in the downloads folder and let it install on your device.

2026-02-15 Model 4G A13 Advanced SIM Settings
If you are needing to access your SIM settings and not able to open the "Advanced" option, an over-the-air system update '20251224-1540' has been released to address this. Below a Guidance Video on how to install the update.
Note: The download is fast, but the installation takes a while (approx 15-20 min).
