Factory Reset via the Settings Menu - Model 4G 205 [Oct 2022 - Aug 2023]

The first step before resetting your CollecTin More is to Unregister your Fully Single App Kiosk licence.

On the Home Screen (blue with Give A Little and Support icons)
Swipe up from the bottom and tap > Fully Single App Kiosk
[IF you cannot see this: press the round android control on the bottom > Cogwheel icon for Settings > Apps > See all apps > Scroll down to Fully Single App Kiosk & tap > Open]
On the Fully Single App Kiosk Quick Settings, swipe from left to right to open the menu bar
Tap > Settings > Scroll down to > Other Settings
Scroll down to > Volume Licence Key & Tap
Carefully write down your Volume Licence Key on a piece of paper (you may need this later)
Delete Volume Licence Key and press OK
Tap the small round circle in the bottom centre (Android controls) to take you back to the Home Screen

Follow these steps to do a factory reset via the Settings Menu:

On the Home Screen (blue with Give A Little and Support icons)
Tap > Cogwheel (settings)
Scroll down to > System > Reset options > Erase all data (factory reset) > Erase all data
Wait until the reset is complete
The tablet should restart

NOTE: Quickstart Guide Last step after reset - added steps below that are not on the Quickstart Guide:

6. Start Kiosk mode

To lock down the unit and prevent anyone leaving the Give A Little App or changing any settings. Also used to add sleep and wake settings when running the CollecTin More continuously.

Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and tap on the circle icon in the bottom middle to return to the home screen
From there, swipe up anywhere on the screen to access the apps drawer
Tap on the “Fully Single App Kiosk” app icon (blue ‘f’)
Set a PIN and write this down (we cannot help if you forget or lose the PIN!) or use the default one (‘1111’)

>> EXTRA STEPS AFTER RESET

On the Fully Single App Kiosk Quick Settings, swipe from left to right to open the menu bar
Tap > Settings > Scroll down to > Other Settings
Scroll down to > Volume Licence Key & Tap
If empty, fill in the Volume Licence Key you noted on the piece of paper
Tap OK

Tap the small round back triangle on the bottom left 2x until you are back at the Quick Settings screen

Optional, but recommended when running the CollecTin More continuously:

Adjust the ‘Wake up and Sleep’ functions
- Swipe in from the left side of the screen to open the Fully menuSelect ‘Settings’, then ‘Power SettiTap on ‘Schedule Wakeup and Sleep (PLUS) > Edit the default times to suit your preferences or tap on the rubbish bin icon to disable the function altogether; you can also add multiple wakeup and sleep times by tapping on the blue ‘ADD ANOTHER TIME’ button from the bottom left of the screen. Note: "Wake up" time is first, and "Sleep" time second
- Tap the triangle at the bottom left of the screen until you are back to the Fully Single App Kiosk Quick Settings screen and carry on with the rest of the steps

Now, start the Kiosk Mode:

Tap “START KIOSK MODE”
Make sure the Test Mode toggle is off (grey) and select “YES” on the confirmation pop-up.
From the “Select a Home app” menu, tap on “Fully Single App Kiosk” (NOT Quickstep) and then “ALWAYS” on the same menu
Your will now be taken to the Give A Little app
