Replacing SIM card in your CollecTin More - Models 4G A12, 4G 205, 4G & 3G

If you need to access the SIM card in your CollecTin More, it is inside the tablet.


Please look for the instructions relevant to your tablet.

A] CollecTin More - Model 4G A12


Follow these short video to gain access for you 4G A12 tablet and SIM
Note: Switch your tablet off before following the video instructions, by holding the Power button, then tapping > Power off

Once the SIM is inserted, start up your tablet.

> Press and hold the power button until the CollecTin logo appears on screen
> Wait for the tablet to boot up

> [IF the ‘Update preferred SIM card?’ pop-up appears] Tap ‘YES’
 >> Wait for the SIM configuration. When this is complete:
 -  the empty triangle to the left of the battery indicator (at the top left part of the screen) should now be partially or completely full (depending on the signal strength)
-  two 4G icons should appear: one on top of the signal indicator and another to the left of it.

B] CollecTin More - Model 4G 205


Follow these short video to gain access for you 4G tablet:

Once the SIM is inserted, start up your tablet.

> Press and hold the power button until the CollecTin logo appears on screen

> Wait for the tablet to boot up 
> [IF the ‘Update preferred SIM card?’ pop-up appears] Tap ‘YES’  
• Wait for the SIM configuration. When this is complete:    
-  the empty triangle to the left of the battery indicator (at the top left part of the screen)  should now be partially or completely full (depending on the signal strength)    
-  two 4G icons should appear: one on top of the signal indicator and another to the left of it.  
• Please note that at this point it only shows the availability of the network and it can not connect to the internet unless the SIM has been activated  
> Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the notifications panel 
> [IF there is a SIM notification] Swipe left on it to dismiss it 
> [IF there is a blue Google account notification] Tap ‘NOT NOW’ and then select ‘Never’ on the  “Remind me” pop-up 
> Swipe up the screen to close the notifications panel


When changing the SIM card provider, APN settings need to be updated as below, although some may vary depending on your SIM provider. The setting unique to your SIM card provider are the ones between “” in the text below, which you can get from them.

SIM card APN Settings – 4G 205 Android (Oct 2022 onwards)
– On the Home Screen, tap the Settings icon (looks like a cog)
– Select Network & Internet; then Mobile network
– Tap Access Points Names
– Tap the + symbol, top right, and then on Name and enter “Network Name as provided to you” and tap OK
– Tap APN and enter “Setting as provided by your SIM provider” and tap OK
– Tap on the three vertical dots in the top right of the screen and select Save.
– Finally tap in the circle on the new “Network Name as provided to you” row you’ve just made, to select it and put a green circle inside

– On the Home Screen, tap the Settings icon (looks like a cog)
– Select Network & Internet; then Mobile network
– Tap Advanced, then Access Points Names at the bottom.
– Tap the + symbol, top right, and then on Name and enter “Network Name as provided to you” and tap OK
– Tap APN and enter “Setting as provided by your SIM provider” and tap OK
– Tap on the three vertical dots in the top right of the screen and select Save.
– Finally tap in the circle on the new “Network Name as provided to you” row you’ve just made, to select it and put a green circle inside

SIM card APN Settings – 3G Android

– On the Home Screen, tap the Settings icon (looks like a cog)
– Select Network & Internet; then Mobile network
– Tap Advanced, then Access Points Names at the bottom.

For Daisy Communications SIM
– Tap the + symbol, top right, and then on Name and enter “Daisy” and tap OK
– Tap APN and enter “Pkp18-inet” and tap OK
– Tap on the three vertical dots in the top right of the screen and select Save.
– Finally tap in the circle on the new “Daisy” row you’ve just made, to select it and put a green circle inside

For Your Own SIM from a Different Provider
– Tap the + symbol, top right, and then on Name and enter “Network Name as provided to you” and tap OK
– Tap APN and enter “Setting as provided by your SIM provider” and tap OK
– Tap on the three vertical dots in the top right of the screen and select Save.
– Finally tap in the circle on the new “Network Name as provided to you” row you’ve just made, to select it and put a green circle inside
