Physical inspection of a CollecTin More that was dropped

Sorry to hear your CollecTin More has been dropped and looks like it has been damaged. The good news is that the unit is modular, with all parts being replaceable.

We recommend taking the CollecTin More apart to investigate which parts have been broken, including clips if some parts have only come undone. Videos below include the different parts that make up the CollecTin More. Please use the below guides according to what is relevant in your instance.

At each step take care to inspect the clips mentioned in the How To Videos, and if these are still functional and can be "clipped back".

Step 1: Remove the SumUp
Below you can find a video on how to remove and insert your SumUp card reader safely.
Please use the photo below to identify if you have a Tray 1 or Tray 2 for your SumUp.

Step 2: Remove the back and take out the Tablet
> Helpful tools: Flat screwdriver or back of a spoon

If your tablet did not switch on while positioned in the CollecTin More after the fall, try charging it directly with a power cable once removed for 30min and see if it starts up then.

Step 3: Remove and reattach the front cover

Step 4: Remove and reattach the SumUp Tray
> Helpful tools: Flat screwdriver or back of a spoon or flat nosed pliers
Note: If you receive a new card reader tray AND cable, the cable will already be fitted into your new tray, so only focus on the part in the video that shows how the tray is removed and fitted into your CollecTin More.
